Could I please offer a tip to extend the life of the batteries ?. Once the batteries are fully charged, remove them from the charger as I have found that constant charging greatly reduces the efficient life of the cells and reduces the effective operating distance Of the radios.

Thanks for the advice (from steve) about whether or not to upgrade to NiMH and what capacity to go for, etc - you certainly seem to know your stuff. Hi, used 2x GP220AAH/T, 1.2v 2.2aH in my Braun 7570 Synchro to avoid buying a new complete circuit board with the batteries fitted.

Works fine with a very extended working life when shaving.

First charge after fitting I did with the direct cord connection to the charger plug. I found that the clean & charge unit cut out after 1 hour leaving the batteries only a quarter charged. Razor took a full 4 hour charge and since then back to normal at 1 hour using the clean & charge unit...just as the manual says.

Left the unit on to run the batteries right down before the second charge and it buzzed away for well over 2 hours. Standard is 50 minutes!

Great saving over buying the £50 circuit board.

I purchased 2 - off GP 220AAH/T AA Rechargeable Tagged Batteries & with a little trimming of the tags got them to fit, and hey presto a shaver like new. My wife bought a couple of snowmen with LEDs in them. When we found that the batteries (3 in each) only lasted a couple of days I went out to purchase some new ones. Imagine my horror when the cheapest I could find them was in Maplins and they were £1.49 each. The man in the shop was helpful and did offer to sell me some key ring lights which were £2.00 each but had three of the batteries I needed in each of them.

I came home and did a search on the internet and found your site. Buying them in packs of 10 they worked out at about 26p per battery (including postage and packing). We now have enough to keep the decorations on over the Christmas period.

The battery was required for my potterton EP2001 central heating boiler time controller. Following a power cut the timer would no longer display and the boiler would not come on, typically this happened on the coldest day of the year so far. Hello, just thought i'd give you some feedback about your company. I think this is the fourth time now i've ordered batteries and overall you run a great service. The neccessary information is well laid out and clearly stated especially the battery dimensions. I use a no. of power tools for my work and find the odd time that one or more of the individual cells die. To me it's a complete waste dumping a whole power pack when only a few of the cells are gone so the service you run comes in very useful.

Bought the batteries for my old Philips 800/A rechargable razor, to replace a pair of NiCad cells when one of the pair stopped holding its charge.
No problems with fitting these new NiMh batteries after bending and trimming the tags a bit with scissors to fit the holes in the PCB.

Many thanks for the prompt supply of a CPS533 as a replacement for the battery pack in my Philishave Cool Skin. One point to note for this particular model of shaver (mine was manufactured in '99), the connection tags on the replacement are the opposite orientation to the original, this means you simply have to bend the tags back on themselves to go down into the PCB, as supplied they point up when the top right connection is positive. However there is plenty of room to accommodate this.

It was very easy to split the side by side configuration of the 2 half C cells, and twist one of the cells round to make an inline battery to fit my old razor.

Thanks for your prompt and efficient service. I needed a 1.2V rechargeable battery for a Phillips 384 shaver. The one in the shaver was a NiCd. The only battery of the same size (with tags) I could see on your site was a NiMH (code GP220AAH/T). I decided to try it. The negative tab was a trifle too wide for the slot in the board, but it trimmed easily with a good pair of nail scissors. It is now soldered in and the shaver is working well. Many thanks and when I need more batteries I will be in touch.

I purchased a replacement battery for a toothbrush in June 2007 Stock code CPS 447. The battery performed well, but needed replacing in 2010. I ordered a replacement in January which was fitted in April, both orders were delivered promptly.

The toothbrush is no longer available and we have not found one that is anything like as good, so being able to get replacement batteries is really useful.

Thanks for your acknowledgement. I can only re-iterate how delighted I was at your courteous and helpful people. Basically, I was trying to replace quite an old GP battery. Your guy figured out how to do this from stock and had the wit to realise that I probably wanted them in a stick without my saying so - and he made the stick up for me.

In consequence, I have a working appliance (actually a toothbrush) that I would otherwise have had to discard, saving me about £100.

I recently purchased 1xCPS373 I must admit a bit on spec. Pleased to say it is working fine in my Philishave HS 875. This shaver is, as far as I can tell,identical to the HS 905 which you sell this battery for except it does not have the audible low battery alarm or comfort adjustment. The little booklet that came with the shaver covers both models (which is why I took the chance.) You do not seem to have a battery listed in your catalog for the HS 875 but I am confident that this one is suitable. You are the only company I found with anything suitable. Part Master, Philips, Dutchwest and parts shavers.co.uk all said no longer available.

Having been given a beautiful Cartier clock from my two sons many years ago, I have always been unhappy to have to pay a Cartier dealer £10 to renew the battery. However, after leaving the clock unused for a couple of years I again went to a dealer and they charged me £25 to send the clock to the manufacturer, put in the battery and return it to the shop for me to collect.
However, the shop wrote, after four weeks, and told me the clock needed a service and this would cost £120!

To cut a long story short it would have cost me £60 to get the battery in my dive computer replaced, after scouring the internet I found some instructions for DIY battery change hence the order for this particular battery, at 1/10th the cost and a little bit of care I thought I’d give it a go, end result works a treat, thankyou very much.
